It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Kathryn at the bookdate. This is where you can talk about what you have read, what you are currently reading and what you are about to read.
I hope you guys had a great week and weekend.
This past week was busier than usual but there were some good things and I was able to do more reading than I thought I would. We had a lot of rain in SC on Monday and Wednesday and I also had school on those days as well. Wednesday we had our Gradfest celebration and I was able to get invitations and my cap and gown too. I had to work on papers toward the end of the week and was able to finish one for my online class on Saturday and I started the research paper for my English class. I also received information on my exam project in my Website class and we will start on that this week.
I was able to finish 3 books over the week, which I was very surprised by but I am not sure how much reading I will be able to do in the next couple of weeks although I am hoping to finish at least 2 more books by the end of the month hopefully.
What I read last week:
I finished this one last week and loved it. I will try to have a review up as soon as I can. (5 stars)
I didn’t really enjoy this one that much but I am glad that I was able to pick it up because it helped with a lot of challenges on Goodreads. (3 stars)
I surprised myself by reading this one faster than I thought I would and I ended up finishing it over the weekend. I thought it was okay but I am looking forward to seeing how the series ends. (Goodreads rating – 4 stars, actually rating – 3.5 stars)
I decided to go ahead and try this one again since I finished all of my other books on my kindle but so far I have only read a few chapter although it is very good so far. I will try to read it this month but I may have to wait until after exams to read it.
I’ve also started reading this one but I’ve only gotten a few pages in so I am not really sure what to think of it yet. I will try to make some progress with it this week.
I’ve read a couple of chapters so far and will hopefully make some progress with it this week as well.
I did forget about this one for a while due to reading other books for review but I went back to it this weekend and am already at around 37% and so far it is pretty good. I should have it finished soon hopefully.
I don’t have any new books yet but I am hoping to have a new list for May hopefully.
So this is what I have planned for this week. I should have reviews up for Tara and the giant queen by Gita V. Reddy and November rain (#1) by Shannon A. Thompson by the end of the week hopefully but if I don’t I will have them up as soon as I can. I am not sure how much reading I will be able to do this week since I have to work on my research paper but I am hoping to make some progress with a couple of books hopefully.
I hope you have a great week,
