I can’t believe that it is already September. School has definitely started and I’ve had to get used to a completely different schedule with school but I am getting there and it has worked out so far. August got really busy toward the end of the month so I didn’t get as much reading done as I wanted to and I still have about 5 books from my library that I have to finish this month. I also have a smaller list of books for September as I have a lot more hw this semester than I have had in the past.
Total books read in August: 16
5 star books:
Their fractured light (#3) by Amie Kaufman & Megan Spooner – This was really good and I loved how it ended. I would definitely recommend this trilogy.
Fairy Tail Vol. 1 by Hiro Mashima – I started getting back into Manga books this month and this was the first one I read for August. I absolutely loved it and plan on continuing this series and hopefully watching the show too.
The ruby circle (#6) by Richelle Mead – This was another series that i finished this month and I am very glad to have read it. I didn’t enjoy it as much as VA but it was still pretty good. I would definitely recommend this series as well.
3 star books:
Shadowland (#3) by Alyson Noel – This series kind of went downhill for me as i really enjoyed the first one but didn’t quite enjoy this book. I will continue this series though as i have it on my shelf but it will probably be a while before I pick up book #4
Perfect (#2) by Ellen Hopkins – I loved the Crank trilogy by Ellen Hopkins but I didn’t enjoy this book as much. I am very glad I read it though.
The miniaturist by Jessie Burton – This is definitely not what i usually read but I thought i would try it and it was okay. I loved the historical Fiction part of it but I didn’t like the mystery part of the book that much. I am glad that i gave it a try though.
Blame! Vol. 1 by Tsutomu Nihei – This manga was different and a little confusing at some parts but I am glad that I read it.
Other books I read:
Most of these books were pretty good but I had a couple where i had very mixed feelings about them but I am glad I was able to finish them.
Books I am still reading:
Books for September:
So this is what I have planned for September. I am not sure how much reading I will get done as I have a lot of hw this month but I am hoping to read a couple of books.
What do you have planned for September?
You go, girl! 16 books – that’s amazing! :))
