My TBR list for June 22-28, 2017:

This week I will be visiting my grandparents and I probably won’t be able to get on the Internet until I get back or when I am in town so I won’t be able to do any updates until I get back but I wanted to post my TBR list for the week before I leave.

Here is what I have read so far:

15513156

This one was ok. It was fast paced at first and we learn a lot of information but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I am thinking about getting the last book though. (4 stars).

What I am currently reading now;

303128601

I have just started this one and am hoping to finish it tonight but I am not sure how much reading I will do.

What I plan on bringing with me:

Kindle books:

6307964 234619891  21464106

I plan on finishing at least one of these ebooks on my kindle this week but I am not sure which one I will focus on first.

Library books:

13618440 25558608 14290364 27235365 23253083

I am not sure if I will be able to read all of these books while I am away but I am hoping to finish at least a couple of them.

I also won’t be able to any of my regular posts on Monday and Tuesday but I will post some things when I get back. I should also have my monthly Wrap-up/TBR list up by the end of the week as well.

So this is what I have planned for next week. I am probably taking more books than I will read but I am hoping to finish at least 2 maybe 3 books and make some progress with A storm of swords.

I hope you have a great week!

It’s Monday! What are you reading? June 19, 2017:

it2527s2bmonday25212bwhat2bare2byou2breading

It’s Monday! What are you reading? is hosted by Kathryn at the bookdate. This is where you can talk about what you have read, what you are currently reading and what  you are about to read.

This past week was a very good week for reading as I managed to finally finish one series that I have been reading for a couple of years and also a coupe of trilogies as well. I didn’t really do anything this week although I did start playing video games again.

This Thursday I have an overnight orientation at the school I am going to in the fall but other than that I will probably be reading again this week and will hopefully finish a few more books as well.

What I read last week:

I am Alice (#12)  by Joseph Delaney:

6282143

I thought this one was ok but it was a fast read and I was able to finish it in a couple of hours or so. (4 stars)

Fury of the seventh son (#13)  by Joseph Delaney:

18090026

I didn’t really like the way that this one ended either but it did finish a series that i have been reading for a long time so I am very glad that i decided to get it when I went to the library . (3.5 stars).

Crystal storm (#5)  by Morgan Rhodes:

23367261

I really liked this one although it did take me a long time to finish. I am now caught up in the series and will probably get the last one sometime next year after it comes out in December. (5 stars).

A court of wings and ruin (#3)  by Sarah J. Maas:

23766634

I surprised myself this month by being able to get this one since my Overdrive account had it. It did take me a little while to read though but I thought it was pretty good. (4.5 /5 stars).

Ashes to ashes (#3)  by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian:

10662433

I really didn’t like this one that much. I am glad that I read it though as it helped with a lot of challenges on Goodreads and finished up a trilogy as well. (3 stars).

Illuminae (#1)  by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff:

23395680

This one only took me two days to read it and it was okay. I will Probably pick up the second one sometime next year though (4 stars).

The city of ember (#1)  by Jeanne DuPrau:

5602550

I picked this one up on a whim as I am still working on a challenge on Goodreads from last year and needed one more new series. This one didn’t take me long to read but it was just okay. I might continue the series at some point but I am not sure yet. (3 stars).

Currently reading:

13618440

I have only read a few chapters of this one so far but I hope to read it later this week hopefully.

30312860

I’ve only read a couple of pages so far but this one looks really good. I will probably finish it within the next couple of days or so.

16150831

I haven’t really read this one that much so I plan on reading it this week and will probably finish it by the end of the weekend hopefully.

25263927

I’ve read a few chapters of this one so far but it is very slow going. I am hoping to finish it by the end of the week.

Up Next:

25558608

15513156

So this is what I have planned for this week. I am not sure how much reading I will be able to do as I will be getting ready for orientation toward the end of the week but I am hoping to finish 3 or 4 books hopefully.

I hope you have a great week!

It’s Monday! What are you reading is hosted by Kathryn at the bookdate. This is where you can talk about what you have read, what you are currently reading and what you are about to read.

This week was a little busier than usual but I was able to make some progress with a few of the books I have been reading. Last week I had to get some paperwork for the college that I will be going to in the fall and I was also able to get my final transcript as well. I also signed up for orientation which will be an overnight thing for me and I think I might have everything set for that but  I will have to make a couple of phone calls in the next couple of days to make sure that I have everything. I also went to the library on Thursday and ended up getting more books than I thought I would but I don’t have any plans for this week that I know of so I plan on finishing a lot of books that i have started.

What I read last week:

Catching Jordan (#1)  by Miranda Kenneally:

129571652

At first I thought I would like this book but once i got into the story I found that I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. It was still interesting and I will be continuing the series although it might be a while before I get to the second book though (3.5/5 stars).

A curious tale of the in-between by Lauren DeStefano:

262046162

This one also took me a while to get into and while it was interesting I thought it was just ok.

Ashen winter (#2)  by Mike Mullin:

This one took me a while to get to so I finally sat down last week and read it in a couple of days or so. I definitely enjoyed this one a little more than the first one and will be starting Sunrise (#3) later this week hopefully.

The lost hero (#1)  by Rick Riordan:

7736182

This one was a reread as I had read it some time after it came out and I think I liked it a little better than the first time. (4 stars).

Currently reading:

I am Alice (#12)  by Joseph Delaney:

6282143

I have only read a few pages of this one but it seems interesting so far. I will probably finish it in a few hours or so.

A court of wings and ruin (#3)  by Sarah J. Maas:

23766634

I have slowly been working on this one but I hope to finish it in the next couple of days or so.

Ashes to Ashes (#3)  by Jenny Han:

10662433

I havent’ really started this on yet but I plan to read it after I finish I am Alice hopefully.

Crystal storm (#5)  by Morgan Rhodes:

23367261

I started this one a while back but haven’t really read it that much so I plan on finishing this one soon as well.

May was a very good reading month for me as I was able to make a lot of progress with some of the books that have been on my shelf for a while. I have had to change my TBR up a a little bit due to not being able to finish them at the time but i plan on getting them from my library later hopefully.

  1. the adjustment (#3) by Suzanne Young – I am not really sure if this one is book 3 or 5 but for this one I am going with the Goodreads edition which I have seen as book #3 – I had no idea that this series was going to continue so I was very excited to read this one. Right now these are books that I plan on getting but i won’t be able to pick them up until next week due to still having books that I need to finish so some of these books might change.
